Important Tree Trim Details

The Annual Tree Trim event is just around the corner.  The Columbia Club has been alerted about several changes to this year’s event which are going to affect your arrival. 

These changes have been adopted by the office of Homeland Security in conjunction with Downtown Indy to better address crowd control and security.

This year the performance stage will be set up on the North Spoke of Meridian Street, adjacent to Christ Church Cathedral.  Meridian Street will be CLOSED to all traffic (including “foot” traffic) from Ohio Street to the Circle. 

Read below for specific entry instructions.

IMPORTANT:
1. Columbia Club Members and their guests will be required to enter at the corner of Pennsylvania and East Market Street.There will be a separate security line offering access to the Columbia Club main entrance. Look for a sign that says “COLUMBIA CLUB MEMBER ACCESS ONLY”.

2.  BE PREPARED TO SHOW YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD OR PHOTO ID to the staff member stationed at the entry of the gated access area.

3.  IF YOUR GUESTS ARE ARRIVING SEPARATELY FROM YOU – WE NEED TO HAVE YOUR GUEST NAMES SO THEY CAN BE INCLUDED ON OUR MASTER RESERVATION LIST.  Please email your guest list to Sean Scott, Concierge, at reservations@columbia-club.org or call him at 317.761.7523.


Additional Information:
1.  There is NO valet service available on Friday, November 24th.
2.  Parking charges are your own responsibility on November 24th.The Club is NOT able to validate parking tickets for members who find a parking spot in the Salesforce Tower Garage.
3.  Festivities kick off at the club at 4:00pm through the Circle of Lights Celebration.
4.  All members and their guests need to register with the Concierge at the check-in desk which is located to the right of the fireplace in the Grand Lobby.
5.  If any of your guests are elderly or require special assistance with access to the Club, please contact the front desk at 317.767.1361 on your way into town, so we can make arrangements in advance of your arrival.
6.  Club members ARE able to enter from the east side of Wabash Alley off of Pennsylvania.You will need to have your Member ID card to swipe for entry.
